Title: 3092 board and key 17

Hi,
I am hoping I am in the right spot.
I purchased my first IGT machine a bit ago and wanted to change up the denoms/payout.
I purchased a key 17 after reading through the board, and when I boot up with the 17 in without credits, I get the expected 2 amber LED lights on the MPU.
But when put the base chip back in and boot up, it doesn't go into the keychip menu, and just returns the game as it normally would.
I have attached my MPU.

There should be zero credits on the machine or the key chip will not work. Do not close the door when booting or it will exit the menu.

This is a 3902 board from what i can see. You will need the 22 or (most likely-even better) 37 key.

That's exactly what I did, the weird part is that I get the correct amber led's and purple screen but then nothing happens after putting the base chip back in.

The game software not the MPU type determines the PROPER key to use.  I can't make our your BASE and GME numbers in the photo.  Post those and I'll tell you the correct key for your software.  You can't make blanket statements "Oh that's a 3902, you need Key 22" because it's not correct".  You need the key specified by your software or it's replacement.
