Title: battery dead question on gameking

greetings,i have a gameking,has 6 slots,some keno, and about 12 poker themes,dont know what version,works good,,,,,bought another complete gameking board on ebay(my mistake)195.00,,  sold as tested and working,,thinking it might have more variety,,seller did not give much info. at all on it,,,just installed in my gk and no amber or any lights come on ,,and no video display,is it possible that the battery is dead and if so could that cause my problem,it was not packaged very well at all,put my volt meter on batt. and had .2 or so if i did it correctly,,reinstalled my original and it works fine,will only be buying from nlg family from now on,,any info would be great,thanks

No, even with a dead battery it will still boot up and tell you low battery.  You are not even getting a red led on MPU?  Post a pick of the board.

Does the board have software on it?  Like ^^^ post a photo of it.

3902 rev a,,,,no red light ,no amber lights,no monitor display,trying to post photo,keeps saying too large?

Allowed file types: xls, doc, mp3, gif, jpg, mpg, pdf, png, txt, zip, jpeg, bin, psd, wmv
Restrictions: 5 per post, maximum total size 5000KB, maximum individual size 1000KB

^^^^^That's what it says when you try to post a photo too big.^^^^^

Email it to yourself...that way it gets smaller, then post that one.
Or use windows paint to reduce size if using a laptop.

thanks,i may have figured out how to add the photo of the board im having issue with,when i install in my gk,and power up,no lights at all show up on  board,and no picture,no sound,i believe all chips/simms are in board?my original board is also 3902 rev a  but it does not have simms and it has a multimedia board on it,it works correctly,maybe bad board?seller on ebay not responding to me very well,i may be outta luck,will buy from here in the future,any ideas would be great,thanks

That board will never work. Besides the heat sinks missing, a major 5v power supply component is missing. Where did this board come from?

thanks for reply,this board i bought on ebay a week ago,got it  yesterday,came from az,,,was supposed to be complete,working and ready to swap out , 195.00,,sold as gameking with multiple games on it,,took my original out, its also a 3902 rev a,,,installed this board,nothing happened,let seller know and he does not accept returns,may be outta luck,tested batt,  was only .30,,gonna try and get my money back on this one,,,this is alot of money to me,thanks again

Wow!  Get Ebay involved if ya have to, they don't care if it says no refunds or not if the item wasn't as advertised.  After you do, get one from Jim at Midwest slots, you'll get a good working one not one DOA.
