Title: Bally 6000 and EVO clear chip compatibility...
Post by: shortrackskater on February 06, 2015, 06:14:43 PM
Possibly a dumb question...
I just bought a Bally 6000 (with stand for 100 bucks!) and I'm getting the 88ff error code. I'm going to replace the  very dead battery.
I have an EVO... and EVO clear chips... Is there a remote chance they will work for my 6000?

It won't work.  You either need a set of clear chips if you have printer mains or if the board has leave in mains you can clear it by turning on  s8 on DSI SW1. Check the S6000 manual for clearing the slot.  It is in the NLG file system.  Ted
