Have a POG with everything working,cant get the bill acceptor to register credit

I have a working POG everything's set up and ready to be played,but i cannot figure out the bill acceptor.  Its an ICT PA7 bill validator.  The POG Board is a t340, running 580 software.I have the manual that explains what each dip switch does,but truthfully im too new at this to know how to make sense of it. If anyone could assist me, it would be greatly appreciated.

first unplug black wire harness from side of bill unit, then lift cover of the top front cover of the ICT A-7 you are showing and you will see a 4-dip switch box  /push #2 dip switch other way/ then reinsert wire harness and try inserting a dollar bill it should credit a dollar on the screen. if not check that you are using a 110 volt wire harness not a 12 volt one.

Okay, so that worked to some degree, but now when i boot the machine up i get a "bad trap" error, and im not sure what that means. The bezel also blinks red twice repeatedly,still not taking bills. Any idea what thats about by chance? Thanks again for the help,id be lost without you!

a bad trap error means you did or tried to make a change some thing on the game that the board thinks it is illegal, go to operation menu touch error stats box and touch the blinding bad trap error and go back out  and game should go back to normal operation.

As embarrassing as it is, i was using the wrong voltage of harness. So, you were right.
