Bally 6000 after ram clear

Hi,
I have a bally 6000 that I don't know much about but after ram clear I get 2 dots in the winners paid window and it still won't take coins or bills. Can anyone tell me what that means?

The 2 dots are normal. They will go away after 2 spins. Is the coin mech switch on the front of the MPU in the up position? No numbers to the far left LED display ?  Change the coin in the coin comparitor. Adjust the sensitivity pot on the comparitor fully CCW. Does the Pseudo button on the coin optics give you a credit ?

Well, I changed the coin comparitor and it is now working with coins. The green lights on the bv bezel light up but it won't pull in the bill.
It does go through the cycle and is lit, it is a wba and I have switch 5 on and 6 off still won't pull the bill in.
Also when I put the hopper back in it goes to 3.1 in win paid window so I just jumped the hopper socket and it goes away but I would like to use it and I will try another hopper and see what happens.

If you changed the dip switch settings, you have to do a clear afterwards , for the changes to be applied and work. open and close door 2 - 3 times to clear error messages.
