Title: Denver Duck keeps rebootimg after I changed the 2032 battery in the computer
Post by: br549autosales on October 11, 2019, 04:28:51 PM
I had a cmos error on my machine, put a new battery in the reel touch computer, turned the machine back on with keyboard hooked up, saved the cmos settings, unplugged the keyboard & powered the machine back on. Now once the top screen gets to "building dmi pool......success" it just constantly reboots, any idea how I can resolve this? Thanks, all my machines are breaking down at once, lol!

Did you set the date and load optimized defaults after the battery change.?

Just got back to this machine. Yes I set the date & time & saved. Which optimized defaults do I need to change & save?

From my memory it is a choice PF7 I believe or tab to "load itemized defaults " save on exit and you should be good to go.

Just tried that & saved, it's still re-booting after the screen shows "Building DMI Pool....success. Could it be that the hard drive has failed?

Plug in KB, go back into cmos and see if it's detecting the hard drive. should find a 20 meg drive
