Title: Dotmation "DOT FAIL" / "Prom1 Checksum! 0x9228" error on startup

Im trying to install new game and i get this error and not sure why never had it happen before

The software on the dotmation board is not correct.  Did you replace the software on the dotmation board?

yes i changed the software on dotmation board

Then the eprom is corrupt.  You are getting a PROM 1 checksum error, which means it is failing what the system expects the chip to contain.  It could also not be inserted properly, like a bent leg thad didn't make it into the socket or  the eprom is inserted the wrong way or in the wrong spot.

Was bad chips
