Title: Saturnia slot machine
Post by: smoothgrh on May 20, 2017, 04:01:22 PM
Here's an odd token machine, made by Saturnia. My exhaustive 15 seconds of Googling didn't reveal much about the company.

I bet it would be very nice with some new chrome.  Looks all mechanical.  Perhaps trouble free once you get it running.

It looks similar to a Sega machine, at least the base does. I added a picture of one I used to have.  Look inside the machine, at the bottom and sides for any stickers or writing.
Or, if you didn't buy it, ask the seller to look for us!

I wonder if you can alter it to play loose.

This machine is  mechanical or possibly semi-electro-mechanical (with a coin acceptor activating a solenoid switch to release the handle)
The only way to make it "loose" is to place plugs in the reel mechanism that, for example, "reduce the lemons" allowing a higher probability of it hitting a winning combination.
It would be nice if the original member who posted this would follow up as to whether this machine was purchased or not. Otherwise we're all wasting our time commenting and trying to assist someone who isn't there!

Apologies, everyone—I had to prepare for a trip, then was gone for 5 days and now the posting has expired.  :duh:

If it gets reposted, I'll follow up.
