Title: Jackpot 7's handle bolt threading challenge
Post by: Caliwebman on January 24, 2018, 05:05:13 PM
I must admit that I do believe I pulled a bone head maneuver on my Universal Jackpot 7's machine. Being that I have not been able to get the handle to work I began looking into it and after cleaning all the optics, confirming wiring and a few other general preventive maintenance duties upon it I decided to unscrew the inside bolt to the handle. Upon doing this I was able to clean up a good part of the moving parts within that area but my problem now is that i cannot for the life of me get that bolt started into the thread and back in. Please tell me that there is a simple trick to this..... I've tried just about everything but to no avail. Any wisdom or knowledge would be much appreciated from you masters.

After attempting to get the bolt in a few more times im beginning to think that I should loosen some of the bolts on the main frame of the housing in hopes of that allowing me to get the angle I require to begin threading. Only problem is Im a bit hesitant to do that for fear of other challenges coming about. Can anyone guide me unto which bolts I might safely loosen to help get the angle I need? Thanks felllas!

You may have shoved the handle to far down and are missing the hole.
Pull it out and hold it outside the hub and visualize it lining up with the bolt then put it back in.

aha! I got it, its not that the whole handle mech comes out but rather just the actual handle bar..... after a bunch WD-40 the thing finally allowed me to realize this by breaking free and coming out. Then I was able to see what was happening and sure enough align the handle bar to the bolt and Wvala! Thank you guys sooo much for your patience and support of my endeavors here. You all are appreciated.
