Title: 50-29 code on s6000

I have 3 Monte Carlos and 2 cash times. They all come up after clearing them with the 50-29 error . I know its a validator comm error, But I have changed both boards on all machines and still same on all machines. Any thoughts?? The arrows turn green for about 10 seconds  on the bezel then goes red.  Thanks

Have you checked the dip switch setting for WBA or MEI (MARS) choice?

Yes I have according to the Bally manual, unless im getting something mixed up on the DS. I would install a mei but I don't have the proper harness.  All machines have wba.

DS2 - WBA = switch #5 = on    #6 = off

What is the history? Nothing was changed except to do a clear? Why were you performing a clear? Dead battery?

All batteries were dead, also a couple had bad boards. I have the dip set 5 on 6 off.  The machines come up like there is no problem, but then after about 10 seconds validator bezel goes from green to red. I have changed out both boards on the machines, even harness for validator and still same problem on all machines.

Check your power supply voltages, see attached.
