Post by: tommyxv on February 02, 2018, 09:57:01 PM
Can anyone here make extensions cables for this topper?

If you're talking about a "topper" as in the "candle"" at the top I can't help you.   However I was looking for the male and female connectors on the back of the GameKing monitor.   I failed in that quest, but I did come across a pre-made umbilical extension cable.   It works wonders when you are trying to access the circuit board for testing or the potentiometers on the flyback transformer.   But it's gonna cost ya....I think from Suzo-Happ or Ceronix.......about $180.00......but it's really nicely constructed.....from factory.

                                                                                                                   Best regards,

                                                                                                                  Robert P.

I can help too. I don't have one so would need better pictures.

If you are having trouble finding connectors I have had to look for many in my day job and usually come up with something.

If you want to stay with OEM maybe I can help. I would suggest replacing with an off the shelf connector that would be rated for purpose. I can build cables and I'm no where as expensive as stated above. Most likely ridiculously low.

I was hoping for a similar scenario but could not find just the connectors for constructing the extending cable myself with just the cost of cable.

                                                                                                                          Thanks much,

                                                                                                                          b.p.

Would you still want some pics of the certified Ceronix cables?

Hi Tony,

No having finally breaking down and buying a new led monitor, right now I'm just looking for 6.4 software chips.

The original post was over 3 years old.  I don't think he needs the extension cables anymore. LOL.

Well would you look at that  :rotfl:

Then let's see what we can do with your stuff.   I need to start paying more attention. :fryingpan:

Edit : and I just noticed that Rick replied  :fryingpan:
Robert, we can work with this and see where it leads if you don't mind dealing with an old guy that doesn't really read 'everything'  :applause:

I too just noticed that the original post was three years old. That topper looks very similar to the one in my first post.

Somebody cut all wires right at the mounting post.

Would I have a better chance of selling if I had complete cables?
What would it cost me for someone to make up a set?
I still need to test the screen to see if it works. I need some kind of power source.

Finally broke down and bought a factory manufactured umbillical.    It's a beutiful tool, and very handy.  However it was 200 "quid".   Not cheap.    Unique connectors to start with (available from perhaps "Mouser"?)       Bought  complete cable from SuzoHapp.

I've been watching this super candle forever on ebay, you can look at those cables and check them off the list with your cables.

Not sure if this helps.
