Went to my storage today and found padlock cut off and door lock drilled out , :Scratch-Head: Missing was 2 bally double jackpots with progressives ,16 inch tops black cabinets No DBVs or Boards, 1 IGT vision with no boards/top display had Mata Hari belly round top gray cabinet with gold double row switches, And a 3 reel bally Alpha Gold cabinet/door no DBV had bad power supply Ser #S080810236, and a small tool box , Public Storage/ Police reviewing cameras , Lucky they left 25+ machine and I have Insurance on locker,So could have been worse , Storage was located in Oakley Ca 1.5 hrs from San Francisco/ 1.5 from Sacramento, If anybody geta call or contacted to fix or buy parts for these and are local Please contact Me or the Oakley Police Case # 14-8865, Thanks

That's horrible. I'm so sorry to hear. Guess I'm not the only one who rented storage for slots and accessories :)
I hope they pop up somewhere, and you get them back in your possession.

Did you watch Storage Wars Marathon on the weekend .... I think Hester might have them ?
So how do they calculate current valuation on those machines for insurance purposes ...?
$15K a machine is replacement value these days from Bally or IGT ?
If they use depreciation per year from the time they were new goes the other way and they are like $12 now 30% depreciation on business machines brings the value down to near zero in 5 years.
Vegas Retail price in one of those used stores ?
Average Ebay price ?

most likely you'll find out someone from storage place was in on it , either way it sucks , we had storage units in vegas in 80,s lived in nj at time always worried that it would be empty when we got there one time

Really sorry to hear this. If I get any calls looking for parts for these or trying to sell the machines to me I will let you know ASAP. Thanks for giving us the heads up. I hope you get your belongings back.

I hope you profit or break even with your insurance.
Either way its a horrible feeling that some lowlife has been stealing from your property.

Just to let you all know, Just got a check from Storage Co insurance, They gave me $150.00 per machine and $200.00 for misc stuff missing, So im not out that much, luckily I had receipt for machines or they wouldn't have paid ,pete

Found 2 of my slots that were stolen 3 years ago , Loser posted them on offer up,for $400 both, contacted them that i was interested, Called martenez police set up meet in walmart parking lot , Thank fully i had purchase receipt with serial #s and guy and his wife were both arrested for stolen property and warrents , both were tweekers, had other stolen property in truck,See pic of machines in there truck,

Do you think the other two are at his home or perhaps there is a record of who he sold them to ?
Craigslist would have a record of communications to/from the seller.

We got machines stolen out of a storage unit late December 2015. Recovered :applause: 2 last July. 2016. You guessed it Offer Up. Guy said he bought them at a local flea market, no charges made by the police, had serials and the guy let us remove them from his property. I check CL and offer Up occasionally the rest may turn up someday. We carry a list of our missing machines with us in our tool box, never know when a service call might turn into another recovery.
