Title: I need more help

Well lets see.  I reconnected two wires on the coin hopper, the green and nother striped one. I don’t know f that nis right or wrong. When i went to put it back I saw that the plug from mthe machine was loose. How is it connected to the machine? I don’t know. Anyone out there have the answer?
Next to try to fix  is the coin compartor. My machine works on quarters. I put one in the compare slot. The coins keep dropping straight through. What could be the problem? Should I take it apart?

Turn the comparator sensitivity control fully counterclockwise and see if it allows coins to be accepted.
What is the hopper problem?

What errors are showing in the far left display? Probably a hopper error with that plug not mounted . All errors must be clear and the coin mech switch on mpu must be in the up position.

Sorry thought this was a 6000 and error would be in left display . I see it is a 5500. Still could have errors, let us know

I'm not sure what the error code is right at this time. I will find out tonight when I put the hopper back in.  I will check the coin comparitor also to night. I find that the bunch of wires has a single black wire coming out of the molded plug. It's to short to go any where so I gather it is the ground and will need to be grounded when I reinstall the hopper plug into the cabinet?
