Title: 40x Reel2 error

I have a JP machine that has a reel2 error. I have tested the I/O, CPU, eproms, Reel, wire harness from reel to backplane and Power supply in another machine and all test fine. I removed Reel #2 and switched to Reel #1 position along with the harness and the error did not move to reel#1. So the reel and wire harness are fine. Does anyone have anything else they could think of to solve the issue. My only thought would be to replace the backplane board and see if that’s the issue, but didn’t want to have to unless it was my only option. Nothing in the archives I read addressed this issue.

Turns out it was a bad backplane board. Once replaced the reel error cleared and worked perfectly.
