It has been many years since I have had to put a 1490 into a Fortune 1.
There was a small interface board that had to be put into the video signal analog connector in order to make it work.
Before I try reverse engineering a solution does anyone have the schematic for that small interface board?

Did you look at the old site?
I remember a big write up about it.

A video inverter board? That is all I could find.

It was a PE+ discussion, but in the middle there
is talk about working on a Fortune II.
Here's some of the stuff they built and other info.

A 1492 displays just fine in the Fortune 1 and the 1490 will display properly in a PE or a Fortune II.
The customer bought the Fortune I thinking it would be a easy fix to get it running but someone had shoved a 1490 into the game and sold him the game cheap as "needs work".
After finally getting all of the wiring fixed and repairing the MPU and sound and I/O board it was time to fire up the game to discover this problem.
I was thinking the right angle dongle plugged into the analog input on the 1490 was someone's solution but have only seen one years ago and it the 1490 was used in a PE poker.

Believe me, lack of 1492 monitors is not the problem.
