Just installed new 1270 mpu board and used my old memory board and chips , it now has Ram error tone, do you need to use clear and set chips again ?? both steps ??? Is this needed after every board swap ??? TY
-
Just keep turning the jackpot reset key until it says to press white button for 3 seconds or close the main door.
-
Okay just turned key 4x on the 3rd turn it said some kind of mis match is that normal before it changed to push white button for 2 to 3 seconds ?? then it will not go past close door, its stuck on close main door with doorclosed, door switch was working previously
-
Yes that was normal error. Are you sure the door lever is all the way down?
-
yes TY
-
Did you open belly door or is BV door open?
-
all doors are closed
-
Sounds like your new board may have acid damage near the varta battery? or where it was?
-
A good close-up photo of the MPU near the green Varta battery is needed next I'm thinking... :scratch-head_3:
Let's see how "new" that board is. :sherlock:

ok will take pic btw I just put old varta damadged brd back in and the constant close main door is gone , the original brd error is back stacker open and door m open ????????????????
-
I Just bought another 1270 mpu brd and same problem, I bought brd tested and working from trusted vendor on here
Thinking about swapping out main door optics ???? Also door m opened had to be reset a couple times a week and door was not opened !! TY
-
Do you know how to align the door optics?
-
No I was wondering about alignment, btw do you think I should try clearing it first?? before touching door optics
TY
-
No need to clear anything.
Stick a stripe of masking tape vertically on the edge of the door where the optics are roughly.
Stick one on the cabinet right alongside it too.
Using a square, open the door and draw a fine lie on the tape on the cabinet where the center of the optic glass is when the latch is fully downward.
Draw a fine line on the other tape on the door where the other optic glass is.
Close the door and see if the two lines match up.
If not, see how space there is and adjust one or both optics accordingly until you get the lines to match up.
This is not rocket science...lol

George,
I asked you in an email if you have verified the mother board connections but got no reply. The MPU I sent you was working perfectly & allegedly the first one you got was tested. I do believe you have another problem. Did you swap the MB at any time? Have you checked the optic connector behind the first reel in the cabinet?
