I just picked up this Bally 5500 slot machine that was made for the Space Quest Casino located at the Las Vegas Hilton. The cabinet is unusual with the custom top box. It has the Space Quest “light wand†that activates the reels when you pass your hand through them.
The machine had it’s original battery which I replaced and did a Full Saferam Clear and it fired right up. The components, board and EPROMs are all marked “LV Hilton 1997†from the factory. It is a nice, clean machine.
