Title: Bally 6000
Post by: jeffjeff on June 08, 2020, 01:59:12 PM
I just purchased a bally 6000 on eBay. I played it for 10 minutes and got a code/error 88. I know nothing about slot machine. This is my first one. I looked at the manual and I think it’s a catastrophic failure   I don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Check the battery voltage on the MPU. Let us know what it is.

So I took the board out and put back in. The code 88 went away. Now it’s showing 88ff. Any ideas on clearing this one. Thanks

Hi Jeffjeff🙄🙄..if you look at the top of the site, there is a search box. If you type in "88ff" , the site will magically pull up all posts and solutions for that code. You can also do a basic google search  " bally 6000 88ff". Do you have clear chips ? Here is a link to the list of  Error codes on Bally 6000 machines...
