Title: What model 3 reel is this Aristocrat machine?

Shows 540  on the glass. It's a 1994 year. Number on tag-  DV02246S


I have the power supply pulled out . It was mounted to the right of the hopper. The three voltage LED indicators are lit but i have no display and machine does not work.


I see it has three batteries on the boards in the rack. Will i need to replace all three batteries before machine will turn on?


The Red led on the board in the rack does not illuminate.


Bad batteries or bad power supply?

iv never seen a reel 540, i have a 540 video slot and everything looks the same except the reels

the power supplies are milspec i know that because mine had power supply problems and i researched it.

mine had a loose ground connection coming in from the main power socket to the case.

check the voltage on the batteries if there low replace

check the voltage rails coming out  im sure the boards are marked with each rail

check all fuses that about it regarding the supply

Yes this is a 540/ mark 4 Aristocrat US machine , here in AU no 540 reelers were introduced, our last reelers were Microstars late 80's.
Plenty of info on 540's in this site.
