Started work on this machine. Missing parts. Found working power supply, Installed & has all 3 outputs, 5, 12, & 24v. Game played maybe 20-30 times then no spin 1, reset, two plays then no spin 1. Keep resetting and getting no spin 1, 1, 1, 2, 1, 1, 3, 1 randomly. Tested 24v at supply, switched out reel assembly, cable, cpu main board different game,(Trivecta) same thing, no spin. Does the piggyback board on the cpu have anything to do with the reel function? Its the only thing I didn't change out. If not what would be the next thing to check?
Thanks for all of your help. As I had said to Jim, I was suspecting a bad solder in the power supply(Picture, top, left of center)pin 13. Now I just have to find a new reel glass(black), new reel strips as they are roached, and work on the BV.

the piggy back board is for the interface to the bill acceptor. WOW, you changed everything associated with the reels, did any of the units work in the other machine?, did you try with the door open?? pull out the cherry switch, this will allow the machine to be play as though the door was closed, maybe something is interfering with the reel spinning??

Unknown if reel mech worked but, exact same problem? nothing touching reels. They try to start then mmmmmm slow. Mostly reel #1 but occasional #2 & #3. door open or closed no change. I can reset rapidly with same results.

Something is causing the 24 volt to drop to 12 volts. Testing at mpu connection. Power supply holds all 3 voltages by itself. If I unplug all reels it does the same thing, loses half power. What else is run on 24 volt?
