Hi,
I might have found a minor bug.
I just got a Buddy request as a PM. When I click on the link in the email it automatically takes me to the personal messages however it automatically has me replying to the PM....

found out the Buddy mod and the PM system mod share the same files...  so yes it's a bug but with out rewriting an all new mod we're stuck with it..

I do not get much time but liking it so far.   It is Brighter for sure as Jim blue stated.  Can see it good with my glasses and worn eyes!.  Will take a grand tour when time allows as I know it is beieng tweeked.  Knew about this quite some time ago but had to keep my lips and fingers on keypad idle- :nlg-logo: .

Myself,  I like this new set-up so far.   BUT  I am really missing the old site.  Was kind of like a pair of good fitting shoes or under-ware- :arrowthruhead: .

Is there any thing that can be done about the red fonts? At least to me it's hard on the eyes.. My eye sights not the greatest, but it's really hard to look at in my opinion. :soapbox_3: :thank_you:

The red annoys my eyes as well not say it is not colorful.    Also,  Arizona does not observe day light savings time change-- :Scratch-Head: .   First I ever heard of that. Said A good bye to old site on old site- R.I.P. .  When is the funeral Joey?  I would like to attend it.  Buzz could probably be the cremator---- :24: .  You did send him the Nuke box? .  Old site will be missed by many here.  Time to get used to this more modern fancy one now!.

The red color print on a light color background is not pleasant to look at and a lot of it is bold print and makes it worst.

The color setting of the text is set to red.... as if we set it to black you won't see the text on the black backgrounds.  every where you see red is the same setting if we change it changes all red text..
I'm open to color suggestions.....

Joey, is there a darker shade of red or maybe a dark blue that may be easier on the eyes? Thanks for the "not bright white" background though! It is much easier on the eyes!

The red font is giving me a headache trying to read. I AM getting old.

Changing:

.windowbg2{color:#000;background-color:#f0f4f7;}

to:

.windowbg2{color:#000;background-color:#ffffff;}

helps me a lot with the red on the thread titles.

It's decent, although I'd prefer a slightly darker shade of green if you're open to that.

I personally can't see it very good. I do just want to say .... My hats off to all that are putting many hours in to this new site. I know there is no way to thank you enough but I do want to say that the effort is appreciated

looks good on the white but you cant see it on the black background... the 2 color codes are tied together in this theme... in index.ccs

I like the nice bright look to it!  :applause:
BUT I think I also found a bug... when I misspell a word, here or any message box, the red squiggly underline appears, but right clicking won't bring up the list of corrected words to choose from.

Without reading the FAQ's, does anything from our old logons/profiles carry over to our new logons/profiles?

Hey Joey:


The site looks great.  I was on vacation abroad and, when I got back and went to the .net site, was surprised to learn about the transition.  When I came to the new site my username/password wouldn't work.  I attempted to get "the e-mail" back (multiple times) and even e-mailed you - but didn't hear back.  Finally, last night, I decided to go ahead and attempt to create a new account - using the same e-mail address and user name I had before.  Much to my surprise, I was able to create a new one with all of the same info -- but, of course, none of my access to my e-mails, et cetera, worked.  Stranger still - when I go to the .net site, I'm still logged in (as Jasonmichael) and can still access the old e-mails.  I went in today to make a new donation (and enter the raffle) and I did enter my username.  Just wondering if there's some way to merge the two accounts (if, in fact, there are still two accounts)...  Help?

I love the layout, colors, fonts etc. I had trouble with the page size though. It just seems harder to scroll and navigate around, in my opinion.

I do not like reading this on the Recent Unread Topics page, which I always look at first thing:

"YOUNG VICTIM ON DOWNED PLANE HAD EERIE PREMONITION OF CRASH"
 
Why can't this stuff be at the bottom? Maybe it's interesting (I guess) but it should be at the bottom of the page or in a separate category preferably, so if people really love that stuff, they can click it and get all that nice "happy" news that we already can read in the paper.
I don't understand why that kind of news is here at all... in a slot and game forum. I understand having the funny jokes but seeing the other stuff is just a big downer. Am I the only one who has this opinion?

I just had to finally accept it. Plus it's nice and pretty blue now!  :dancing_2:
I hope someday, there will be a "clean up" and some of the dead categories could be deleted or archived somehow, like that "slot tech" magazine section. I feel there's too many non-used forums here, some haven't been touched since 2014 or earlier, and mainly because the person involved (as in the title of the forum, other than Buzz) has vanished from NLG. I know some people just move on but if they're a moderator or part of a forum, and they left, then we need/should just remove it altogether, in my opinion.
And I think it would be nice to maybe rename or change the Buzz's General Insanity page to a tribute or memorial page.
