This game king has a 19” kortek (upright).
After 5 minutes of play, screen goes black. Touchscreen still works, game still functions.
The led under the screen goes out when monitor goes dark.
The screen is perfect when it’s on.
I’ve been told this is possibly the AD board.
Can anyone link the correct AD board? Model is KTL190L-01
Thanks.

Does the green power LED go out too? If so, I'd be looking at the power supply.

It does, but only the screen is affected. No other power issues.
-
I agree with Tilt.
The power supply is on the monitor, if you take the back off you will see it. It will only affect the monitor.
Two types of power supplies shown in pics below

Great. Thanks. I’ll pull off the cover and have a look when I get home.
-
Yeah, I should have been more specific. I meant the monitor's internal power supply.

This is the power supply.
Looks like a couple of variations for sale online.
-
You might want to re-cap it, that will probably fix it. The cap in your picture has definitely seen it's better days.
-
I would, but have never tried that before and it’s not my machine.
Would this be the correct replacement?

Ok. Yes, that looks to be the correct power supply.

Replaced the power supply. Worked great.
Machine owner later slammed the door, now screen is scrambled.

That's a first for me. Has he power-cycled the machine to see if that clears it up? I'd also try re-seating the monitor.
-
He re-seated and re-powered.
Definitely caused by slamming the door as it worked great until then.
-
Check the cabling to make sure something didn't rattle loose. Then try pressing the menu button on the monitor control board and see if it comes up clear or not. If it's scrambled too then I'd be leaning towards a bad A/D board or maybe even the panel itself.
-
I just text him and told him to a check the board. Turns out flash had come a bit unseated. Works perfectly.
He’s so happy. Was beating himself up over the damage.
Disaster narrowly averted.

Glad to hear that's all it was, especially just after getting it working!
