I just picked up an IGT
Fortune 1 PE Draw Poker Machine. It plays O.K. but, has two issues. It has no sound and the 5 credit button take 20 credits when pressed.
Is the sound adjustable? If so, how? Any other ideas why there is no sound? The 5 credit button is taking 20 credits per attempt. Is this a setting issue or something else that can be fixed or adjusted? Is there a downloadable manual online? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After doing some forum searching it might be that the machine is set up as a $1.00 machine but, should be set as .25. It take 20 quarters for it to deal automatically and the pay outs are 5x what the glass says. How can I change it to 25 cent? Dip switch? Chip swap, or board change?

Location D8 on the MPU board is for jumper options. Some software is programmed to allow denomination changes when a jumper is added there.
the easiest way to explore the options is to plug in a 8 position dip switch and turn on switches to see if the denomination will change.
The sound board is located under the monitor shelf and has a volume control.
The board does fail on occasions and repair involves replacing certain H11A1 optos and replacing a capacitor near the audio input.

If you become a contributing member to NLG (you can just make a one time for a month if you like), you will get access to the NLG File System which has three manuals for the PE, PE+, etc. available for download.

The posted picture is not of a Fortune 1, It looks more like a PE poker.

Thanks so much for the advice! As mentioned above, I think I mis-identified the machine. See pictures below. The main board is below the monitor, on the back wall behind the hopper. It has dip switches on it but, I don't know which, if any will change it to a 25 cent machine.
I did find the volume control and it works great. I just need to swap it from $1.00 to 25 cent.

here are a couple more pics of the board.

I was able to cycle thru the settings and testing by pressing the white test button. I verified it was 25 cent and discovered the next screen allows you to set the maximum number of credits/coins per turn and it was set to 20. Pressing the deal button allowed me to set it correctly to 5 max. All is well now.
Last question.... what model version is the machine?

It's a Player's Edge machine.
