I made a lowball offer (which was denied) just to satisfy my curiosity.The placement of the label concerned me.The sellers profile concerned me.The lack of Blue IGT logo on the sticker concerned me.The picture taken in the crotch of someones blue jeans concerned me.
Butttttttt, my curiosity got the best of me and I still made an offer.

I was the one who bought the IGT eKey 9 that was listed on eBay.

Took forever to get it and the seller was clueless to say the least. After having received it and being able to hold it in my hands, I do believe it to be authentic.

Sadly, I hoped to use it in my IGT AVP, but the AVP doesn't recognize the drive when I insert it like it does with my eKey 7.

If this is truly authentic, does anybody have any idea what it would be for?

It's primarily made up of casino slot techs and they have an IGT section. It's used when one of them has a unique problem with a casino slot they are unable to resolve and they need to pick the brain of other techs, but they will occasionally entertain questions from collectors.

Made a post and already got one reply....

It's like ekey 7 but for ascent running foundation AI02000P0011 and OS 602.

Don't we have some users here with Ascent machines? Thought I've seen posts about them....
