I am sad to say member Amechanic ( Gary ) passed away this morning. He fought a tough battle against Covid. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Gary will be dearly missed here on NLG.

I never met him personally, but talked to him pretty frequently. Gary was a generous man who would help anyone he could. He knew some of the EM machines inside and out. He will be dearly missed. Prayers for his friends and family. RIP Gary.

Never knew him and it sounds like he was a great person. Covid doesn't care who you are, what your views are, whether you are the smartest or greatest person in the world, or the opposite. Too many naive individuals trying to do the right thing but are listening to the people that don't know what they are saying.
The science is there folks. It may not be perfect but it sure beats the alternative. Please protect yourself, your family, your friends, and anyone you will be in contact with. So many have lost their lives to this terrible disease, many of which thought they knew better.
I wish his family and friends nothing but the most sincere good wishes and condolences, God Bless.

Just getting back into repairs and saw this note about Gary. Lived in Michigan and had the opportunity to visit him a few time. Bought slots from him and pick up machines for him from other States. Gary and his wife welcome you into their house like you were family. As noted he knew em machines really well and always took the time to help with repairs. There were time we just talk about life, just a great guy. We will all miss him for his knowledge

I keep wanting to pick my phone up and give him a call!
He helped me with a few of my Ballys. He'd also bug me about fixing my old Willys Jeep that was in the background of some of those photos, which is now running. Luckily he knew that before he passed.
