I am trying to track down a problem and for the life of me cant find the common denominator.
One particular game (Candy Bars) constantly goes blank enough to trigger the "signal lost" on the monitor.
I thought maybe it was the Video cord. Switched that.
Thought maybe the Graphics Card. Switched that.
Thought maybe the DVI to VGA adapter. Changed to a VGA to DVI cord. I use active adapters on everything and they work flawlessly.
Thought maybe the monitor, moved the game to a whole different machine still doing it on that machine.
Thought maybe that "class" of game wasnt compatible, loaded PanPan which is the exact same game style and layout and had no problems with that at all.
The only thing I havent done yet is move it to a machine without the Graphics card.
I cant understand why it is just one particular game. All other 3D games work flawlessly.
