Title: AVP Trimline Bill Validator issues

Have an avp trimline 3.0 that rejects all the bill inserted. The Bill validator is working as it was tried in a known working machine and worked fine. I have done these settings many times and never had a problem. When I go into the diagnostic menu and do the test it is recognizing the bill but just rejecting it.

The machine carries a Rs232 printer and the touchscreen connects to the cpu directly.


Any help?

I was reconfiguring my AVP 2.0 and now my bill validator is doing the same exact thing.

It was working fine until I cleared it and reset all of the options.

I can see it recognizing and then rejecting the bills in the event logs.

I have obviously screwed it up, but I can't figure it out.

Did you ever get it sorted on your machine?

Well, I figured mine out...

I had inadvertently set the credit limit to $0.00.

I feel stupid. I knew it was something stupid. So I feel happy that I was right!

Except that I was the one who was stupid.
