Title: Ballys ALPHA 2 v22/32 conversion help!!!!!!
Post by: dilbert1972 on September 24, 2022, 08:43:36 AM
I have recently acquired 3 ballys alpha 2 fireball v22/32 conversion.  This issue is the bottom monitor is displayed sideways.  I have tried everything short of replacement of monitors.  I have removed and tried to rewire all the monitors to display port.  No avail,  originally it was set on a splitter on the dvi-d output.  Any guidance or advice would be amazing

Please help

The original Fireball was a v32 game, Fireball 2 is a 22/32 game.  So please clarify.

If FB2, the bottom monitor must be connected to the VGA port on the CPU, top monitor connected to the DVI port on the video card.

It is fire link sorry so the best solution is the bottom monitors will connect vga port and the top goes to dvi?

If it's a Fire Link it is a v32 game (single screen) only so disconnect the bottom monitor and connect only the top one to the DVI port on the video card.  The bottom monitor will be blank though unless you use a splitter but it will be sideways like you described.

No, you are playing a single screen game on a dual screen machine.  You have 2 options described above.  That's it.
