Question for the group on game king 8.3R setup on avp.... I’m looking to swap hdd between a g20 and 23, both ssd. My 20 is going to become my poker machine, my 23 has the 8.3R package written to it.
Since the special game king menu layout can only be implemented if 8.3R is loaded first and doing it the old way (usb in at power on vs using the manage packages) with no other other games loaded, is it possible to do this swap, then immediately clear the nvram on the machine to set up, and still have the option for the menu? I have the game loaders so worst case I do a full wipe and start over... but there’s quite a few packages on each, also with a mix of GT and GC files as well. Setting up each game and progressive links is bad enough, but documenting and reloading packages to the hdd is very time consuming.
My goal is basically moving my better MLD games to the 23 using it to its full potential, and not lose poker options in the game room.

Topic solved- I’ve been informed that the menu option is loaded to the drive, so once it’s there, it’s there. Thanks to RB for the education!
