I went slot-wild this summer and purchased two WMS BB2's, 10 game CF's and 5 OS CF's. Now that I've started poking around the NLG forums, I see that the CF's can go bad (just like my memory), so I was considering making back-up CF's. In researching the topic here, all I've learned so far is not to use Windows 10, but do use Scan Disc red or blue cards. As I have an older iMac, I'd appreciate input on what kind of equipment/software I should buy in order to make a reliable back-up system. I'm willing to get a new Windows based computer if needed, as well as the appropriate card reader/writer unit and software package.
My thanks to all who take time to provide feedback!

You can't use macs either, finder writes crap to the cf card. I only use windows 7 and winimage. You could also use linux "dd" to make images, but most people dislike CLI interfaces. Also any USB based multi-card reader should work as far as hardware needed.
