Title: Dynamic button panel
Post by: Slotsmanlucky on November 15, 2022, 08:03:42 PM
Hello, I have been having problems with dynamic button panel on my IGT Trimline machine for a while.  I have purchased a standard AVP Trimline button panel with hardness to replace dynamic button panel. My problem is I’m not sure what else I need and where the plugs go on backplane.  Any information will be appreciated.  I have attached some pictures.  I picked up this machine from David /Buzzarama in OK. a few years ago. Thanks, Richard.

Have you looked at the schematics for your machine in the NLG File System?

If you're not allowed and cannot get into the File System, consider being a Contributing Member to NLG in the link down below.
It helps pay for the costs to keep the site up and running.

I do not have a Trimline but do have a G20 with standard buttons. The 2 white connectors go to harnesses just inside the door. Those 2 harnesses go to the backplane (J19) switch inputs and (J16) switch lamps on mine. Yours will be slightly different but should be similar. Maybe this will get headed in the right direction.

RB and Stayoutadabunker thank you two for the input. I really appreciate the help.   I do have schematics on, but I couldn’t make sense of it.  I bought this machine from David Cowden he converted to Dynamic button panel, which I have had a lot of problems with.  When I get out of hospital Saturday or Sunday, I will take pictures of what I have if I can’t figure out the plugs. Thanks again for the help!

Looks like Ron answered it. here's a snip of the harness connections.

Hello RB, Stayoutadabunker and a69mopar thank you guys for your help.  I thank I have found where the button panel plugs go.  I believe they plug into the board inside on the bottom door.  I couldn’t find any 24 and 20 pins plugs on backplane.  I have attached a picture of board on front door.  I really appreciate the help.  Thanks Richard
