Title: System error on CDS video slot

I have a 1998 CDS video slot machine, its a model UV1910 egyptian gold theme. When I first powered it up I got a battery low code. I was able to find a replacement coin battery finally and now when I power it up it will play some egyptian style music but says system error on the screen. do I need to reset the machine after the battery change?

Not use to these but I found a similar post in a older thread on this group and this was suggested by a person named paul
"open door turn key forward press spin till you get intl  then press bet one and follow instructions  see if that works"

i gave that a try and nothing changed. it just says sytem error on the screen no matter what i do

I believe you need to go into the menu, by turning key, and select initalize the machine.
Had to do this with my CDS reel deal video poker machine.
