i found it loosely attached with no cables running to it inside my machine ,

Where was it in the machine?  Does it open? What is inside? Are there any other holes?

looks like it takes power on one side and a mic and headphone type plugin
was just hung in there on a extra stud with a nut on finger tight
looks like a circuit board inside
was just hanging in there ,on the left side

NGL, I have no idea.  It's not in my machine or any pics ive seen.  Maybe it's just a leftover part from Casino player tracking or something related.

Open it up and have a look inside.  Looks like some sort of power distribution box for player tracking.
