Igt s2000 netplex down

Changed power supply, vfd, made sure no bent pins and all connectors are seated. Unplugged bill and ticket devices. Still having issues. This machine was this way when I picked it up.

Was it supposed to work when you picked it up?  This looks like an MPU problem. Do you have another machine to test it in, or another MPU to put in your machine?
Post a clear picture of the MPU. We need to see if all the chips are in correctly.

No wasn't working. No extra mpu. My only other machine is an S+ so I can't try it in that one. Been looking for an mpu and seems hard to come by. If it is an mpu  does it make sense to get an enhanced with motherboard or stay with the current?

The MPU looks pretty bad. I'm not sure I could save it.
The easiest thing to do is to get another 50X MPU. Contact Jim at Midwest Slots. (Ad on home page) He may have some.
A 1270 would be the best. You would as you know have to replace the motherboard as well.

These are 502a boards modified to a 504b . never had varta damage, varta removed, coin battery holder installed, comes with a GX1 version chip, 362 SG chips, a multimedia lite board and a 042 sound simm.  Everything tested in a machine.

200.00 plus shipping, if you don't want the software and mml /sound simm,  175.00  plus shipping.

Looks like you have some heavy corrosion on the board in the lower left area of the photo near where the varta battery was. Board is probably damaged.
