Igt s2000 vision monitor problem

I had my first encounter with a visions game. The machine boots up and plays but the monitor is white. It’s on but displays nothing. Any idea what the problem might be? Thank you for responding

Since it boots and plays it indicates that the MPU is communicating with the topbox computer and that it is booting properly as well.  My best guess would be a bad LCD panel.

I forgot to say that the top amber light is blinking on mpu.

That is normal on any machine with a top box bonus.

After boot had completed that sheet doesn’t apply. The led he has blinking just shows comms data between the top box and the mpu. If you unplug the data cable it will stop flashing.

The topbox LCD LS520 backlight inverter circuit board is sometimes available on ebay....not too expensive really.
There are others as well that you can use but check out this link as an example...>>>

I have only had black screens from invertors. Since the game is playing, just not showing the bonus is a good thing. A LS520 invertor from EBay isn't that expensive and at some point will be needed if not the problem. Good to have an extra. A simple 20 minute repair

What makes you conclude the monitor is on?  From your picture it appears white even with the machine off?  Do you see any change to the monitor at all when you turn the machine on?  Once the machine has fully booted, shine a flashlight a few inches from the display at a slight angle.  I you can see a image then I'd agree it's a backlight issue.  As Elvis said, all I've ever seen is a black screen if the backlight is out?

Ok wanted to leave solution. It was led screen. Replace it and all is great. I even end up buying this game. Thank to all that helped
