Help needed with graphics
« on: November 24, 2022, 12:13:02 PM »
Hello fellow slot addicts,

I acquired a 19" GameKing that was severely damaged when someone who didn't like someone else rolled it out the front door and left it on the step for them to pick up. I bought it in pretty rough shape and managed to bring it back to life with some TLC and a hammer. I really like this machine and plan on keeping it for my personal collection.

One of the final repairs I need to do is to replicate the top glass, the current piece is cracked in a few places and looks bad. Many people here and elsewhere have told me that the replacement glass is almost impossible to find for this machine. I have personally searched for hours on end online only to find the wrong size every time. I read in this forum about creating your own and I am now trying to go down that avenue. My problem is that its been way to long since I have attempted to Photoshop something and find myself struggling. I am sure there are many people here with skills well beyond mine that can do this type of stuff in their sleep.

My question is, is anyone here willing to help out, I would be happy to pay for your time, I'm not a rich man, but willing to compensate someone for their valuable time.

I have two scans of the broken glass from a local copy house that need to be assembled together and the cracks and other damage removed. I am then hoping that I can take the repaired scan and have it printed on a translucent or some kind of photo paper I can sandwich between to thin pieces of glass to re create the original as close as possible.

Please let me know if you would like to help and how much you may charge for this work or maybe someone knows of a company that can help me with this for a reasonable cost?

Here are some pics of the top piece and the damage. I have high res scans but can post them here.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry, please move this to classifieds if it violates the forum, I posted it then realized after I was asking to buy something, not sure how to move it myself, thanks.

The broken glass pictured is from a 19" cabinet not 17" as stated in the original post.
Quality doesn't cost. It pays.
