installing a 50c hopper

Good afternoon!!

i have a person who wants to have 50cent coin gear added to a s2000.
i have several 25cent hoppers and heads...

what im asking is, if i can find a 50cent shelf reel and pin wheel, will i beable to swap those 2 parts with the 25c parts? does the same knife work for a 50c?

does anyone have 50c parts....will need a head to and a comparator with 50c optic part.

does anyone have a complete coin gear setup for 50c?  that might be easier to find and know for sure.

I've never done a .50 cent setup for an S2k.
I can only imagine you'd also have to get a large token encoder for the coin-in optics, and a large slot head on the deck?
I'm sure some people have them for those larger casino tokens?

I remember April from Slot Machines Limited used to have some of those parts.
I was dealing with a S+ and PE+ at the time, but I think the wheels are the same.
Knives don't get changed with coin size changes.
On the big tokens the hopper optics get raised but I don't think you will need to do that for the 50c piece.

Steve,   For the hopper, change the pinwheel, shelf wheel and knife.  ( most 50 cent and dollar hoppers I have seen use the large coin knife)
Coin head, black encoder in the coin optic assembly, 50 cent denom insert, reprogram the settings to 50 cent for the BV unit.
The CC-16 can be used for the 50 cent coin.
That should do it!
I have all the parts if you need them.

thank you all for your input...yes plenty of parts had to be changed, but i finished the job a few mins ago.
