Some of those parts are no longer available. Ceronix doesn’t offer Repair for the 1492 Ceronix any more.

How long did it take to power up to a picture? That sounds familiar.

Here are what my notes tell me. If I have a slow picture to come on, to try this. First is to change out the Quad Amp IC at #146, LM324, or it could be the V & H Control IC at #218, LA7851 or LA7850. By changing these out, the picture powered on in 10 seconds or less. These both can be found on EBay at a very reasonable prices.

I forgot about that small cap. That piece is no longer available, so I just put that style cap on, and it works great. I’m glad I was able to help yea out.

I ended up putting a 10uf 50v. I couldn’t find a 16v. It’s working fine. You think that’s ok? Or should I order a 16v?

I think it should be fine. I’ve always been told to go a little bit over, then to go the other way. I ordered my self a cap kit in a plastic organizer tray box, that had about 20-30 different caps. Some I’ve never used, but you’d be surprise how many that I would.
