When clearing machine freezes and locks up at sound ram.

I am having this exact same issue and error after replacing batterys on 5 machines all of them doing this. Your el key is in correct? Did you ever figure out what the problem was?

my el key is a univesel key..

still having same issue..

Yeah thats the same as mine. I thought maybe my el key was bad. I thought maybe hardware failure but i have this issue on all 5 of my machines that had the battries die. For the rest of the eorking ones i soldered in a aa battery before i removed the batteries so i didnt need the el key after changing the batteries on those. Hopefully someone will respond.
