I receive this notice on boot, I figured it was probably a hard drive issue. Anyone have thoughts on this.
Thanks

It says usb at the start. If this is a diagnostic drive this usually happens when someone puts the drive in a windows computer.
-
There wasn't a drive plugged in but also had this error occurring at the same time. I am sure there is some relations between the two.
-
Bios chips are probably missing in it

The machine was working prior to error, acts like something failed.

If there isn't any drive plugged in, why is it inferring that there's an USB error? :Scratch-Head:
Did your button deck USB harness fall out of it's socket?
Check both ends.

I will double check and let you know, not sure. Thanks

That’s a normal error for the buttons until the machine boots up completely. Fix the authentication error and hopefully that takes care of it.

Computer wont do anything at all without its bios(boot1)

I'm with the original person describing the usb mass storage authentication issue. This is usually a usb diagnostic drive that does not pass validation. You would get a no signature found if there was a boot2 bios issue, or a bad grey cable, or bad hard drive.

In Reply #2, he says there's no drive plugged in? :scratch-head_2:

Ya im at a loss in that it says usb mass storage in the picture. I know the avp had a hidden drive image somewhere i gave not figured out where that drive image is yet thats one of the things i want to learn now that i own a machine specifically for these kind of tests. That disk image may emulate a usb.
