pick up a new to me slot and i know nothing about it
cant find a manual cant even read what it says on machine trying to find model and year made

That looks like a Pachislo (Japanese slot machine)
They only take tokens and are a skill stop (Japanese laws) that's what the 3 buttons below the reels are.
Unfortunately they usually aren't very expensive and, I hope I'm wrong but, I don't know of anyone on this site that will be much help.
If there is I'm sure they will jump in as this site is a wealth of knowledge.
