Title: Slot Stand
Post by: dailey on January 21, 2023, 05:03:05 PM
I got tired of building slot stands every time I bring home a new slot machine, so for my last slot I bought a bench from Wayfair. It's a very solid wood bench with a 2" thick top and a load rating of 882 lbs. Its solid wood. It should be safe for two slots. For added stability against tipping, as it sets on thick carpet, it is bolted to the wall studs using angle iron and the machine is bolted down. The cost of the bench was only $351.00

Wayfair SKU: W004252810

The dimensions are:  66" L x 16" W x 18" H

Dailey,
Nice stand for sure!
I do have a question for ya.

I noticed that different bull-nosed stands are different heights...from 18" and 22" high.
With the slots getting taller and taller...I wonder if it even matters anymore?
There must of been a standard stand height for say...an S2000 upright machine?

I always thought that a players' eyeballs when sitting down should be level with the main payline on the reel glass?  :scratch-head_2:

You bring up a good point. I believe the standard height for an S2000 stand is 22-inches and this bench is 18". This might be a bit low for some people. It's something to be considered. I'm comfortable with 18", but I'm not using standard slot chairs.
