Title: reels chip to small
Post by: freddie200 on January 07, 2024, 05:50:24 AM
does anyone know what reels chip i need///////// i got this s2000 sizzling 7 machine for good price,,,  machine would start up and play  then it would stop and  say close main door,,,,,,, after a board switch ( as a test ) found out it was the board
found that a small chip at c86 was missing got it fixed ,,,,when putting chips back in found that the reels chip was 2 pins short on each row ,,,has a s-plus reels chip on it
how do i go about finding the right reels chip

thanx for any direction or info

That's normal. S2000 MPUs have a 32 pin socket but the actual chip is 28 pins. You can eliminate it completely by using SB100087 for Sizzling 7 3CBP.

With the correct SB chip you don't need the reel chip. Leave the socket empty.
