Title: How much is my PE poker worth?
Post by: dpond3 on January 31, 2015, 02:39:49 AM
Hello,
I have a PE machine that is in like new condition.
Coin in meter is under 3000, CRT has no burn at all.
It looks like never been used at all.
What would be worth it?
Thanks,

Depends on what game it has & area selling. Unfortunately a plain PE doesn't sell for much out in my area even in Mint condition. They only can hold 1 game with limited sound & no repeat bet etc.. I've picked up 4 PEs over the last few years from $160 to $200 each. All 4 were in excellent condition with only minor repairs & cleaning to get them excellent. I sold a "Bonus Poker" a few years ago near Mint with a perfect monitor with no burn for $375 & it took me a VERY long time to fetch that price.
BTW/Did you buy this machine out in the Vegas area about a year ago & were talking about it on this site? It sounds familiar. If your looking to sell it, What's the game & where are you located?

Thanks for replay.
This one is a recent acquisition. Yes is in Vegas, and the game is a Bonus Poker.
Only thing, coin diverter is buzzing. I'll look at it when I have time. But that is a known problem on those. Perhaps I might have some software for PE's.
Any suggestion for a more desirable game? If I were to keep it, I like it the way it is.

I remember that machine on Craigslist out in LV & you had just purchased it when I contacted the seller. If you ever want to sell it let me know. Bonus Poker is not a very popular game. I have Jokers software for PE, but you'd need to replace the glass if you change the game.
BTW only having 3000 coin in meter is not in it's lifetime. Meters were either changed out when it was restored for home use sale or it flipped to zero when it reached a million. One of mine just flipped to zero for the second time since I''ve owned it
