Title: Progressive payout wrong
Post by: LINDAM on May 16, 2015, 09:32:55 AM
I have the machine pictured below. When it hit the progressive (3 Blazing 7's) it only paid an even $1000.00 and not the rest. Any thoughts

If you hit a progressive, it should have gone to handpay.  The machine has no way of knowing what the progressive amount is.  In the older type games, the progressive accounting was held in the controller, in your case the Mikohn inside.   The only thing the machine does is send out a coin-in signal to the controller so it knows to increment the progressive by whatever set contribution percentage there was.  There's probably a wrong setting in the machine somewhere that is not telling the system to go into handpay in case a progressive is hit, or it doesn't know there's a progressive installed.  I'll bet the 1,000 credits is just the non-progressive payout.

All my other 6000's that have a progressive payout either pay to the machine or go to hand pay depending on how high I have the internal max set to. this one is set at 8000. The machine, when it paid, paid it to the machine with no problem. It was just the wrong amount. My issue is that I know the setup for 6000's well enough to do it in my sleep, so I am as you might guess really baffled.

I don't remember if it's a +. I set this one up over 6 months ago.
