Title: What model do I have?
Post by: Reggie on October 26, 2015, 08:19:40 PM
I've picked up a Bally slot machine and as a total newbie to these machines I would like some help identifying what I have so I can start reading up on it in hopes of eliminating a couple nuisances.  I figured I better start with knowing what I have so any help in identifying this guy would be appreciated.

I believe this is categorized as an electromechanical but I apologize if I'm wrong about that.  I would be interested in confirming the model and year (I think 1164/76?) and if it appears any obvious components may be missing.  It functions fairly well but I will be interested in trying to resolve issues with tilt/error codes and having to power down the interior toggle switches after payouts.

Hopefully my pictures attach.  If not it's a machine with 2 interior computer cards for the interface and slot control, with the "option" card not being present.

Thanks in advance for any help, it's appreciated!

you are the owner of a SUMMIT  slot machine,  this was a Bally  electro mechanical  converted to a electronic machine.  machine never caught on, Summit went out of business.  rumors are there is only one person in the USA that has parts or information about this machine.  Don't tinker with this machine, if you break something or?  you may end up with an expensive night lite.  Hope you are not into the machine very heavy.

Hope this helps

This is the only one that knows anything or has parts for the Simmit - Bally conversion machines.
And like Jim said "hope your not too deep into it"

Thank you both for your time, links and comments.   I am not into it for much at all right now but was willing to invest a little more if it was worth it, so I appreciate the heads up.   I thought it looked a little bare in spots compared to other photos I've seen so something seemed different!   It's working pretty well right now but of course I was shooting to eliminate the glitches but I will live with them as they are minor so far!!

Thanks,
Reg
