How much did you pay for it? I've never seen this style machine ever, but apparently there's a series of them including "Film Stars, Bomber Command," and more.
I found a large collection here and extracted two photos of what your machine looked like before it got modified, or "modified back." I'm reading more on Tom Bolland revamps...

https://penny-arcade.info/the-tom-boland-collection

Please pull out the mechanism and post a few photos, front and back.

I'm wondering if the entire mechanism was replaced with a "standard" three reel mech. I'm not exactly sure how the original one worked. I'll send out a message to Monti at "Coinopcollectorforum.com" and get him to respond here. If you do a search there, you'll get some more information as well. And, I'd recommend to join that forum since it's much more oriented toward mechanical machines.
Consider becoming a regular contributing member, which helps pay costs to keep this site up and running so you can keep your machine up and running :)

Rpowell18!
Probably your best bet would be Freddy Bailey for information on slots from Britain and information on Tom Boland!
He used to post on Dave Burrit's Coin Op Forum quite a bit with another friend of mine Bill Whelan until Bill's passing a couple years back but I have not heard from him recently since that time!
Link for Coin Op Forum is here below;

https://www.coinopcollectorforum.com/

Freddy's email address was and may still be as below;

anglobritish@aol.com

Personally I have no information on this particular slot machine and whenever I had questions on European Slots or European Slot History Freddy was my go to guy!

Try the Coin Op Forum as I believe he is still on their Forum list!
