S+ Bell

Put my S+ to ring on ALL payouts just to add some variety.  The bell sounds, but then quickly turns in a gurgling type noise like its merely vibrating and not ringing.  I checked all the screws and everything seems to be good and tight, but it still happens.  Often with a bigger hit like 3 “7”s, it just stops about 1/2 through the payout.  If you gently tap the back of the machine it comes back on during those longer pay outs.  Any ideas? Thanks.

Follow the 2-wire harness from the bell to the motherboard on the back or the right....depending on which cabinet you have.
Older cabinets have the MPU on the left wall while the newer versions placed the MPU against the rear wall.

Disconnect that harness at both ends and check for continuity with a multimeter

Could be the coil on the bell.
Try hooking it up to a battery directly and see if behaves the same.

I have done the setup on S2000 to where the bell rings on all pays and it is just like you described. If you get a jackpot I believe the bell will be full on??
