Aristocrat Buffalo machine

Looking to see if there is a Buffalo machine available out west here. MK6 or 7 or ?.
Would like to find one that could be picked up

Looks like a MAV 500?  new to the Aristocrat stuff. Might be leaning towards the MK7 stuff. They look pretty nice.
Laneman i wish i was closer. That machine you have up for sale looks nice!!

I would get an MK7 or better.  No point on anything less than that.  They are much better platforms in my opinion.

Thanks Rick for the input. I have been trying to read up on what-is-what on the Aristocrat machines. As to the different versions its a little confusing, MK7, Gen 7, Gen 8, Helix and so on, but will keep digging.

I agree with Rickhunter...

MK7 is much nicer in many ways.
MK6 uses eproms instead of a cf card.Those eprom chips are getting expensive and are hard to get.
MK6 are MUCH harder to setup

jakah440 too bad you arent closer.That machine I have for sale is pretty nice.I could make it a Buffalo if you wanted that instead of Miss Kitty.

The only thing I don't like about MK7 is The software requires a simm card. Don't lose your simm cards.
The MK7 has 2 screens so no search for matching glass.
Because there are narrow screen and wide screen games you might get a software package that will not work with your cabinet.

Yeah i wish i was!  i did look at driving it though  :rotfl: but 6 days of driving there and back would be a bit much!

Let me know if shipping ends up being a possibility. Thanks for the info as well!

I have a MK7 in Vegas at my parent's place Buffalo, with several additional software titles (Sun&Moon, 4-in-1 and some others).
