Getting into the Accounting section of an IGT S2000 with the Jackpot reset key.

For some reason that I'm not aware of, the only way I can now get into the Accounting of the machine, is by opening the door and THEN turning the Jackpot key.

For as long as I can remember, all I had to do was turn the key.
I don't remember ever needing to open the door?  :scratch-head_2: :scratch-head_3:

I totally agree with you SCM!
I went back to the machine and saw something I didn't see the 1st time.
There was actually a credit bet and the machine was in the middle of an unplayed game!  :rotfl:
What I didn't know is that the [SPIN] button lamp was burned out.
So I never saw that there was a "Bet" made.

I hit the [SPIN] button, played the game off and sure enough, the Jackpot reset key worked...with the door closed.  haha

Sometimes it's just something simple as that...overlooked.... :duh:
